Most deaths from corona infection in the month of Jestha

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal has suffered the most human losses since the outbreak of the corona epidemic in June 2018. According to the ministry, 3,790 people have lost their lives due to the corona outbreak in the Jestha month.

The death toll from Covid-19 in Jestha alone is about 45 percent of the total deaths. As of Monday, 610,521 people have been confirmed infected. As of Monday, 8,465 people have died in Nepal. In Kathmandu alone, the infection has been confirmed in 199,274 people.

In the month of Baishakh , 1,58,674 corona infections killed 1,611 people. However, doctors say that even if the number of infections decreases, the infection rate will still be 20 percent, which will be risky.
