Let’s mobilize banking resources for national domestic product: Governor Adhikari

The Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mahaprasad Adhikari has requested that since the Rastra Bank is running the resources of the common people, it should not be idle and misused.

Addressing the ‘RBBL Management Conference 2024’ held in Kathmandu on Saturday, he suggested to increase production by mobilizing banking resources in national domestic production.

He said, “They are using the nation’s resources here. The resources of the common people have been used. It was not allowed to go to waste and become inactive. Don’t let it be misused. That banking resource should be mobilized in the national internal production so that the production increases and the financial resources here are not spent on unproductive things.

He said that among the banks in the National Commercial Bank system, it has the lowest base rate, which shows its competitive ability. He also urged them to use their strengths to maintain public trust in the face of various challenges and weaknesses.
