Two children at the Everest base camp, succeeded in setting such a new record
Anyone can be surprised when a three-year-old child arrives at the base camp. But it is real. Zachary Kings Allen, a three-year-old Australian boy, has arrived at the base camp of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
Not only that, but his five-year-old brother, Gabriel Robert Allen, has also arrived at the base camp. A new world record has been set after the two brothers reached the base camp of Everest.
Gabrielle is a student at the Mother of Good Council School in Queensland, Australia. According to the Managing Director of the Nepal Hiking Team, Gangaraj Thapa, both the boys have managed to hike the base camp of Everest at an altitude of 5,364 meters.
Both the boys reached the base camp by hiking without the help of the Nepali hiking team. Gabriel had been able to reach the base camp on foot from Lukla had also taken climbing training every weekend. They arrived in Nepal on April 8.
Gabriel also climbed Australia’s highest peak in November 2021. “Gabriel’s goal is to climb the Everest base camp,” Thapa said.
Thapa said his parents, Graham David Allen and Serene Anne Pote, had reached Kalapathar. Thapa said that they came to Kathmandu from there and returned home.
