At least half a dozen rockets were fired at Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan on Monday morning. However, the US anti-missile system deactivated it, the BBC has reported.

It was not immediately clear who fired the rockets. The United States is rescuing people from Kabul airport. The U.S. military plans to leave Kabul by Tuesday.

Attacks at the airport have increased as Afghans trying to flee the country and their citizens there are being rescued by air from various countries. At least 170 people, including 13 US soldiers, have been killed in a suicide bombing at Kabul airport on Thursday.
