Prohibition is becoming loose, public life is becoming normal

With the spread of the ‘second variant’ of the Corona (Covid-19) contagious epidemic, people’s lives have become normal. The ban on corvid control and management is gradually becoming looser. With the corona infection rate declining, public life is becoming normal after the ban was gradually relaxed in some districts.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed to conduct activities in all 77 districts focusing on peace and security and control of COVID-19.

At the same time, the operation of restaurants for public service offices, banks and financial institutions and home delivery services is being relaxed.

The concerned District Administration Office has been facilitating the construction of houses and buildings, transportation, relief distribution, customs, internal revenue, taxes and fees to increase the economic activities in the Kathmandu Valley since the beginning of June.

However, in the case of Kathmandu Valley, the ban has not been relaxed yet, said Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli.

Since the business and entrepreneurs have to go to the office regularly to settle the accounts including taxes for the last month of the fiscal year, the health standards have been relaxed. The district administration offices have not been obstructed in increasing the economic activities including development and construction following the ban.
