Nepal government to provide 1 million for Joshi’s treatment
Kathmandu, March 19
The government will provide Rs 1 million for the treatment of Nepali Congress youth leader and former minister Nabindra Raj Joshi.
On Friday morning at 9:30 am, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel came to Norvic Hospital and inquired about the health condition of Congress leader Joshi. He also wished Joshi a speedy recovery, and informed Joshi’s family member to help him financially.
Doctors at Norvic Hospital had updated Pokhrel on Joshi’s latest health condition. Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel stayed in the hospital for about 15 minutes and returned. Joshi, who was admitted to Norvic International Hospital with a stroke on Falgun 14, is being treated on a ventilator. A few days after the start of treatment, his condition improved and he was taken out of the ventilator. However, a few days later, when his health condition worsen again and he was kept on ventilator and treatment is continued.
“Joshi’s current condition is serious and he is in a coma,” said Senior Neuro Surgeon Rajiv Jha.
