Finance Minister taking a loan of 700 million dollars
Kathmandu : The condition of Nepal’s economy is deplorable now. Even five months after the start of the fiscal year, development expenditure is limited to 6.13 percent. Due to which banks lack liquidity.
However, Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma has claimed that he will leave the country after achieving the target of 7 percent economic growth in any case. On Friday, Finance Minister Sharma told the Parliamentary Finance Committee that he was not to blame for the current situation and blamed the decision on the previous government’s decision.
Finance Minister Sharma indicated that there may be a need to take loans as the budget has not been spent as per the revenue collection. He said the government was preparing to borrow 700 million.
“It is imperative to borrow when necessary, the revenue has risen well, now there is no need to borrow.
