Every year on Shivaratri, devotees flock to the Pashupatinath area with pomp and splendor to celebrate the festival. This time too, it has been prohibited to operate vehicles on different routes to manage the impact of traffic on the occasion of Shivaratri.
The Metropolitan Traffic Police has banned vehicles from plying in the area around Pashupati Temple.
According to a notice published by the traffic police, vehicles are not allowed to operate in the area around Pashupatinath temple on Thursday.
Drivers of vehicles passing through the area around Pashupatinath temple have been advised to use alternative routes.
According to the police, the transport service will be smooth on the day of Mahashivaratri and vehicles will also be able to run on the ring road through Tilganga.
