What is the value of Shikhar Insurance shares after adjustment?

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the share price of Shikhar Insurance Company Limited.

Nepse has adjusted the share price of Shikhar Insurance for the bonus shares of the last fiscal year 2076/77 to Rs 2,052 per share. Earlier, the last traded price of the company was Rs 2,622 per share. Now, shares of Shikhar Insurance will be traded according to the adjusted price.

Thw insurance company has proposed to distribute a total of 29.231 percent dividend to the shareholders from the last fiscal year’s profit. Of which 27.769 percent bonus and 1.462 cash dividend (for tax purposes).

The proposed dividend will be implemented after the company approves it from the annual general meeting on Chaitra 9. The company has decided to close the book today (Falgun 26) for the purpose of meeting and dividend. This means that only existing shareholders will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the meeting.
