Traffic Police took action against 1577 drivers in Kathmandu Valley

The traffic police has taken action against 1577 drivers violating traffic rules in the Kathmandu Valley. The traffic police took action against them in different places of Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday.

According to the Metropolitan Traffic Police, 100 people were arrested for parking on the sidewalk, 53 for boarding and alighting and 39 for violating the red light.

According to the department, 46 people were arrested for driving with the door open, 18 for driving improperly, 43 for driving under the influence of alcohol and 39 for overcrowding.
