Today is the last day to apply for the right shares of Arun Valley Hydropower

Kathmandu, March 21

Shareholders will be able to apply for the right shares of Arun Valley Hydropower till today i.e Sunday.

As soon as the company closes the book on Chaitra 9 for the purpose of right share issue, the existing shareholders will be able to apply for the right shares till today. The company closed the book on the same day for the purpose of issuance of 50 percent rights shares. The meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Falgun 26 has fixed the date of book closing.

The company will issue 52 lakh 41 thousand and 197 shares. The company had received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal on Falgun 25 to issue the shares. Currently, the company’s paid-up capital is Rs. 99 crores 83 lakh. After the issue of these rights shares, the capital will increase to Rs. 1 arba 52 crore and 24 lakh.
