The Nepse index fell by double-digit

The Nepse index, which has been declining continuously since last week, also declined on Monday. On this day, the index decreased by 0.75 percent i.e. 18.07 points and reached to 2,389 points.

On Sunday, the market down by 51 points and  closed at 2,407.26 points. And opened at 2,418.51 points today, i.e on Monday. On this day, the market had dropped to 2,380.53 points and reached 2,432.18 points.

On the other hand, the Sensitive Index, which measures the turnover of large companies, declined by 1.17 percent i.e. 5.07 points and reached to 430.05 points.

On Monday, 212 companies traded 52,309 times with a turnover of Rs. 9 billion 4 million 529 shares equal to 4 billion 24 million 84 million 24 thousand. Nepal Infrastructure Bank has the largest share in the total business on this day. A total of 436.21 million shares were traded today.

The share price of the company with the highest turnover has also risen by 2.68 percent on this day. The company’s final share price increased by Rs. 537 has been maintained. On the same day, the index of hotels and tourism group increased the most by 3.69 percent, followed by merchants by 1.48 percent, manufacturing and processing by 0.19 percent, mutual funds by 0.2 percent and investment groups by 0.57 percent. On the same day, the index of other groups declined the most by 2 percent, 1.6 percent by non-life insurance group, 0.1 percent by banking, 0.76 percent by life insurance, 0.64 percent by finance, 0.61 percent by microfinance and 0.44 percent by development banks. 0.04 percentage index of hydropower have decreased.

The index which was down by double-digit on Monday has four companies whose share has raised. Shares of Chandragiri Hills, Ghalemdi Hydro, Panchakanyamai Hydropower and Ankhukhola Hydropower Company raised more than 9 percent on the day.

9.95 percent of Chandragiri Hills i.e Rs. 88 and the final price is Rs. 972, 9.49 percent of Ghalemdi Hydro i.e Rs. 15 and the final price is Rs. 173, 9.47 percent of Panchakanyamai Hydropower i.e Rs. 16 and the final price is Rs. 185 and 9.03 per annum of Ankhukhola Hydropower i.e. Rs. 13 and the final price is Rs. 157 has been reached.

Himalayan Power Partner’s share price fell the most at 6.25 percent on the day. The per capita income of the company is Rs. 28 and the final price is Rs. 420 has been maintained.
