Cafes, gyms and restaurants of Sydney’s welcomed back fully vaccinated customers after nearly four months of lockdown. The lockdown, which has been in place in Sydney since last June, has been lifted after the Korana infection declined.
With the removal of the lockdown, there has been a flurry of people buying goods in the market and the locals have described themselves as free and reunited with friends and relatives.
Those who have been fully vaccinated in Australia are also allowed to travel abroad.
Sydney and Melbourne, Australia’s largest cities, and the capital Canberra have been in lockdown for several weeks to quell a Delta outbreak.
