The foundation stone was laid by the Finance Minister and the Urban Development Minister
Kathmandu. An office building with facilities for insurance committee is to be constructed in Kupandol of Lalitpur. Finance Minister Janardashan Sharma and Urban Development Minister Ram Kumar Jhankri laid the foundation stone of the new building on Monday.The old building is being demolished and a new building is being constructed at the place where the office of the Insurance Committee is located in Kupandol.
The construction of the building has been started in an area of 10 ropanis at a cost of Rs. 419.2 million. The building was designed by the Nepal Institute of Engineering Studies. The building will be constructed by the Urban Development and Building Department. Vehicle and bike parking will be arranged on the ground floor of the building.
