The death toll from corona infection has exceeded 5 million

The number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection has exceeded 5 million worldwide. According to Johns Hopkins University’s Corona Virus Resource Center, as of this writing, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection has exceeded 5 million.

The United States, Brazil and India account for one-third of all deaths from corona infection.

So far, the number of infected people worldwide has exceeded 250 million. The number of infections and deaths in the United States and Europe has dropped in recent years as vaccination campaigns against corona have intensified.

Corona infections have killed more than 745,000 people in the United States.

The death toll from corona infections in Brazil is more than 607,000. In India, more than 458,000 people have died due to corona infection.
