The child went missing after slipping in the river while returning from school

NUWAKOT: A child of Dupcheshwor Gaonpalika-6, Karejung has gone missing after being swept away in Tadikhola while returning home from school.

John Tamang, 4-year-old son of local Dawa Tamang, has gone missing, said village chairman Yovindra Singh Tamang.He was studying at the Horse Memorial Boarding School Nursery in Ramati, across the Tadikhola. Police said that he slipped and fell on the river while returning home from school on Wednesday afternoon. Local, armed and Nepali police are mobilized to search for him.
