Swastik Rolling Industry began commercial production
Swastik Rolling Industry established in Morang Industrial Corridor has started commercial production. This mill, which is the main investment of Golcha Organization, has started its production at Duhavi in Morang.
Ramesh Rathi, the owner of the industry, said that the commercial production of Swastik has started.
Commercial production has been started with fixed investment of 2 billion and working capital of 50 million in the industry. The production capacity of the industry is 500 tons per day. The industry has started the production of TMT rods, billets, angles, channels and I beams under the ‘Bajrang brand’.
The industry is going to give more emphasis to the production and sales distribution of TMT. The industry produces TMT from 7 to 40 mm. The operator claims that it is the newest and most advanced technology industry in Nepal.
It has been said that among the main raw materials produced in Nepal, iron scrap (iron sheet) is used the most in the industry. Apart from this, sponge iron and pig iron will be imported from India. Swastik will sell billets to other steel industries.
Swastik Rolling has also said that it has its own melting unit. Pashupati Iron of Murarka group had started the smelting unit for two years. Sharda Group and AK Rathi Group’s Premier Steel and Rajalakshmi Golchha’s Hulas Wire have said that they are working on setting up a melting unit.
The industry was established with the partnership investment of two families of the Golcha organization, Rajkumar Golcha Group and Hitesh-Himanshu Golcha’s Hulas Steel Group and Ramesh Rathi’s Swastik Group, young businessmen Jeevan Rizal and Intakab Ahmad Mian of Biratnagar, established in Duhabi Parastok on an area of 10 bighas. The industry has been targeting the main markets of Province 1 and Madhesh Province for some years. Rathi said that commercial production started after trial production after receiving Nepal Quality Mark from the Industry Department.
