Sunrise Bank’s QR service at Trinagar Krishi Market, Dhangadhi

Sunrise Bank has started payment from QR code at Trinagar Krishi Haat Bazaar, Dhangadhi, Kailali.

Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis Nirpa Bahadur Wad, Chief of Far Western Province, Surendra Bahadur Shahi, Chairman of Trinagar Krishi Haat Bazaar Management Committee Dhangadhi, Bhavani Singh Chausir, Treasurer of Creative Society Ganesh Bik and Branch Manager Dharma Kumar Bisht and other officials of the bank were present on the occasion.

Inaugurating the QR code system provided by the bank, Mayor Wad said that the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Corporation has launched a campaign to make the digital payment system in Nepal simple, easy and accessible to the public. He said that this system is beneficial for all as it is safe and easy to pay digitally.

Surendra Bahadur Shahi, head of the bank’s Far Western Province, said that the bank has been increasing the number of cashless transactions in the region by implementing QR code in the digital payment system from small vegetable shops, fruit shops, grocery shops to local buses.

Similarly, Bhavani Singh Chausir, Trinagar Krishi Haat Bazaar Management Committee, Dhangadhi, said that now people who come to the Trinagar Krishi Haat Bazaar to buy and sell vegetables and fruits can do secure transactions through digital banking even in small business.
