The share turnover measurement index Nepse has declined by 108 points. On Sunday, the first trading day of the year, Nepse fell by 3.70 percent or 108.27 points to 2818.17 points.
With the decline in Nepse, the transaction amount has also shrunk. A total of 2,379,832 shares of 223 companies worth Rs 11.24 billion were traded.
Investors have demanded the resignation of NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari after the stock market continued to decline.
As per the provision made in the monetary policy of Nepal Rastra Bank, a person can take loan up to a maximum of Rs 40 million from one bank and financial institution and up to a maximum of Rs 120 million from more than one bank and financial institution.
Share investors have demanded a change in the NRB’s policy.
