Srijana Rana elected president of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who is in the working committee ?

Srijana Rana has been elected as the president of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is the head of Hotel Annapurna. Along with him, nine members of the working committee have also been elected from the general assembly.

Among those elected are Harkirat Singh Vedi of Dabur Nepal Pralika and Saibal Ghosh of Berger Jensen & Nicholson Nepal (Berger Paint). Similarly, Sunil KC of Asia Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and Kunal Keyal of General Insurance Company have been selected as members of the working committee.

Similarly, Achyut Kharel of Parallel Construction Services Pvt. Ltd., Ramesh Sharma of Sharma & Company Pvt. Ltd., Mahesh Bahadur Basne of Mandakini Hydropower, Arun KC of ABC Multipurpose Trade Pvt. Ltd. and Hemraj Dhakal of IME Automotives Pvt.

Speaking at the General Assembly, Rana said that many remarkable things have been done in the last two years in the bilateral relations between Nepal and India.

He said there were still some problems in the areas of bilateral trade, transit and railways, foreign direct investment, intellectual property rights, etc., adding that suggestions and suggestions were needed to resolve them.

He emphasized that the recent visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba to India in April and the recent religious visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Nepal on May 16 had established important understanding in the relations between the two countries.
