Share Market in positive circuit, Nepse raised by 1.63 percent on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Nepse index has raised by 1.63 percent. On this day, the Nepse index has reached 2,570.25 points.

Today, 1,69,34,893 shares of 208 companies were traded at worth Rs. 6 arba 67 crore 44 lakh 23 thousand 941 were bought and sold.

 The overall Nepse has risen after the index of all the 13 groups except the hydropower group increased. The index of the largest business group increased by 9.4 percent, hotel and tourism by 5.44 percent, banking group by 1.28 percent, development bank group by 0.83 percent, finance group by 1.96 percent and non-life insurance group by 1.73 percent.

Similarly, production and processing group increased by 0.93 percent, other group by 1.4 percent, microfinance group by 2.69 percent, life insurance group by 0.83 percent, mutual fund by 1.9 percent and investment group by 5.5 percent.

The biggest gainer was Salt Trading Corporation, which raised by 10 percent. The share price of the company has reached to Rs. 12,705. Second, HIDCL’s share price raised by 9.97 percent.

Rairang Hydropower Company is the biggest loser in today’s trading. The company is down by 3.60 percent. The share price of the company is Rs. 375. In the second quarter, the share price of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company fell by 3.26 percent and reached to Rs. 772. Shares of both companies had risen 9 percent in the previous trading day.

The share price has declined as investors have booked profit along with the rise in share price. The highest number of shares was traded by Nepal Infrastructure Bank. The company’s shares worth Rs 651.5 million were bought and sold. On Wednesday, the company’s share price was Rs. 581.

In the second, shares of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company have been bought and sold. The transaction amount has also increased on Wednesday. The transaction amount has increased from around Rs 3 to 5 billion in the past.

Investors have said that the market is moving towards a corrective pace with the increase in the index along with the transaction amount.
