SEBON instructs not to gather more than 25 people in a broker house

Kathmandu, April 21

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has requested the entire stock market and securities dealers to be careful while providing services as the corona virus infection has increased.

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Wednesday issued a statement, stating for safe operation and help to prevent the corona epidemic. Accordingly, the board has also asked the service recipients and employees to use masks and sanitizers in the office premises.

The Board has asked not to gather more than 25 people in the office and to maintain the physical distance of two meters between the service recipients. And also to maintain the health standards prescribed by the Government of Nepal. In addition, the board has requested to conduct activities such as conferences, seminars, meetings, training through online and virtually as much as possible.

The Board has also instructed the employees of the organization to use electronic means while providing services as much as possible in order to keep the service flow smooth and operate in compliance with the standards related to health safety and to reduce the congestion of service recipients.

The Board urged to follow the instructions given earlier by the government to prevent from the infection of Covid-19. The board has also given the same instructions to Nepse and broker credit rating agencies.
