SEBON approves 9 companies as institutional investors through book building

Kathmandu, April 19

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved nine companies to issue IPO. SEBON has given approval to nine more companies to act as eligible institutional investors for IPOs to be issued through book building method.

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Sunday approved Siddhartha Insurance, Jai Ganesh Investment Company, ICFC Finance, Genex Investment, Muktinath Bikas Bank, Pokhara Finance, Swabhimaan Microfinance, Shree Investment & Finance and Nepal Bank to act as eligible institutional investors.

At the same time, the number of companies allowed to operate as qualified institutional investors has reached 83. Earlier, the board had given such approval to 74 companies.
