Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta’s AGM on Friday; Proposed 8.56 percent dividend

Sarathi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. will be distibuting dividend in the AGM of the company. A total of 8.56 percent dividend proposed by the company is being passed on Friday.

The company has proposed to pay 8.13 percent bonus shares and 0.43 percent dividend for tax purposes this year. The company is holding its 12th annual general meeting on Friday to pass various other proposals, including the proposed dividend. The meeting was called at 11 am at Hotel Araniko, Dhulikhel, Kavre.

The meeting is about to pass the proposed dividend by passing the financial statements including the annual report of the last fiscal year 076/77.  After the merger, the company’s current paid-up capital is Rs. 23 crore 53 lakh 86 thousand. The assembly will also elect four directors from the founders and two directors from the general public. The company has also decided to issue an FPO to the public. As the company’s capital will increase after FPO and bonus shares, the meeting will also amend the management letter and rules.

For the purpose of the general meeting, the book has been closed from Chaitra 19 to the day of the meeting. On the basis of the book close, only the existing shareholders till Chaitra 18 will be able to participate in the general meeting and receive dividend.
