President Bhandari at Pashupatinath for the installment of golden ‘Jalahari’

Kathmandu, February 24

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is at Pashupatinath Temple to install golden ‘Jalahari’.

According to President personal secretary, Bhesharaj Adhikari, President Bhandari has reached Pashupati to perform special worship for atonement.

Inorder to place the golden ‘Jalahari’ in the main Shivalinga of the Pashupatinath Temple, thirty-three Brahmins have come from India for worship. The Pashupati Area Development Trust is planning to keep golden ‘Jalahari’ in place of silver.

On the behalf of the government, Prime Minister KP Oli had made a decision to provide Rs 300 million to keep the gold ‘Jalahari’, which is estimated worth Rs 1 billion.
