Preparations to impose ban in Valley
The government is preparing to impose a ban in the Kathmandu Valley from April 29. The formal decision will be made by the Council of Ministers. A source said that a draft of the proposal has been prepared for this. A meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts was held at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu on Monday. The meeting has given the responsibility of deciding the lockout or injunction to the cabinet meeting.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers to be held at 5 pm today will take a formal decision on the issue. Initially, preparations have been made to lock it down for one week.
