One arrested from Kanchanpur in Bhagarathi murder allegation

In connection with the murder case of Bhagarathi Bhatta, one person has arrested by Kanchanpur Police of Dogadakedar rural municipality.
A 17 year old student of Dogadakedar-7, Chadepani, Bhagarathi Bhatta, who had gone missing while returning from school to her home on February 3. She was found raped and murdered and her dead body was recovered on February 4.
As per the police sources, an arrested man holds public office and is from the same rural municipality. As Bhagarathi has been nabbed from Eithpur of Bhim Dutta Municipality of Kanchanpur district and has been handed over to Baitadi police.
After a few days of Bhagarathi murder, the arrested male had come to Mahendranagar.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has said that the police have already reached “very close” to the murderer and would make him public soon.
After receiving the memorandum submitted by women lawyers, Minister Thapa assured the that the culprit would be made public soon.
Also, SSP Mukesh Kumar Singh, the Spokesperson of Sudurpaschim Province Police claimed that the police are very close to the criminal and would make the details public once the report of Forensic Science laboratory comes to the police.
