On the first trading day of 2078 BS, Nepse increased by 20.67 points

In the first trading day (Thursday) of the year 2078 BS, the Nepse index raised by 0.26 percent. On this day, the index has increased by 20.67 points and reached 2,735.46 points. On the last trading day of the year 2077 BS, the Nepse index had closed at 2,714.79 points.
Today, a total of 1 crore 90 lakh 20 thousand 528 shares worth Rs. 8 arba 63 crore 66 lakh 68 thousand have been traded. It was traded 95,737 times by 218 companies. NIC Asia Laghubitta has the largest turnover on this day.
A total of worth Rs. 49 crore 89 lakh 63 thousand shares of NIC Asia Laghubitta were traded. Along with the highest turnover, the company’s share price has also risen by 9.95 percent on this day. The company’s share price raised and reached to Rs. 1,868.
The share price of Best Finance Company has risen the most by 10 percent while the share price of other seven companies has raised by more than 9 percent. The share price of Best Finance increased by Rs. 17 and the final price is Rs. 187 has been maintained. Along with NIC Asia Laghubitta, shares of six other companies raised by more than 9 percent.
Shares price of NIC Asia Laghubitta increased by 9.95 percent, Maghila Laghubitta by 9.92 percent, Jyoti Life Insurance by 9.92 percent, Green Development Bank by 9.68 percent, Chhyangdi Hydro by 9.67 percent, Karnali Development Bank by 9.64 percent and Saptakoshi Development Bank by 9.57 percent.
Shareholders of Multipurpose Finance, National Microfinance and Swabhimaan Microfinance lost the most today. Shares of Multipurpose Finance fell by 3.67 percent, National Microfinance fell by 3.52 percent and Swabhimaan Microfinance fell by 3.46 percent.
All indices except trade group and hydropower group raised on Thursday. The index of business group declined by 2.53 percent and that of hydropower group by 0.34 percent.
The Development Bank’s index raised the most at 3.12 percent. Similarly, 2.22 percent of finance, 1.22 percent of banking, 1.57 percent of investment, 0.26 percent of hotels and tourism, 0.7 percent of non-life insurance group, 0.77 percent of manufacturing and processing, 0.16 percent of others. The indices of microfinance increased by 0.11 percent, life insurance by 0.26 percent and mutual funds by 0.4 percent.
