NRB to sell treasury bills worth more than 5 arba

Kathmandu, April 19
Nepal Rastra Bank will be selling treasury bills worth Rs. 5 arba 20 crore.
The central bank is going to sell treasury bills through bidding. The bidding for the treasury bill will start at 3 pm on Monday and will continue on Tuesday. The bank has raised treasury bill of Rs. 5 arba and will be sold for a total of 182 days. This bill will be mature on upcoming Kartik 2.
Similarly, the bank will sell treasury bill of Rs. 20 crore for a period of 91 days. The bill will get mature on Shrawan 5, according to NRB.
