NRB to issue treasury bill of Rs. 12.26 billion

Nepal Rastra Bank is going to issue treasury bill of Rs. 12.26 billion. The bank has called for bidding for the removal of the bill.

This 91-day treasury bill will mature on June 10, 2078. NRB has informed that the treasury bill will be auctioned on March 8.

Banks and financial institutions and insurance companies will be able to bid for discount rates.

NRB has informed that the income will be taxed through the discount rate. Bidders can apply for this bond online.
