Kathmandu, April 5
Antigen testing is now mandatory to enter the Kathmandu Valley. A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee on Sunday decided to test antigen at the entrance to Kathmandu.
It has been decided that the concerned municipality should arrange health desk for health check-up and antigen test at the entry points of the valley and appoint a contact person. The committee has also directed to make the antigen kit available to the health office and if the antigen test shows negative but suspicious symptoms in the person, the swab of PCR test should be collected and sent.
Similarly, the committee has requested to update the isolation centers and quarantine centers in all the municipalities and to manage the isolation and quarantine in each municipality.
