NMB became the first bank to implement international prepaid cards system

Kathmandu, March 25

Nepal Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd. has become the first bank to implement the system bought by Nepal Rastra Bank regarding international prepaid card.

According to the provision, prepaid cards can be traded online once or repeatedly, up to US $500 per annum or other convertible foreign currency. Now, by opening an account with NMB Bank with your PAN card and citizenship, you can immediately promote your business through social media by using your own card, services available online from abroad (except in India) such as Netflix, shopping, education, etc., the bank said.

The scheme is operational in 180 branches of the bank across the country and this facility can be availed from any branch. The bank has been providing high quality services through its branches as well as 136 ATMs and 9 extension counters across the country.
