Nine hundred grams of gold seized from Tribhuvan International Airport

Nine hundred grams of gold has been seized from Tribhuvan International Airport. The airport security police office has recovered the gold sent by the gold traders to the passengers returning to Nepal from Malaysia.

Samundra Dangal, 33, of Sindhupalchowk and Santvir Rai, 43, of Sankhuwasabha were arrested while they were going to collect gold at the airport.

According to the International Airport Security Office, the seized gold and the arrested persons have been sent to the Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office, Gaucharan for further investigation and necessary action.
