NIC Asia auctioned shares; more than 100,000 shares on sale

Kathmandu, April 5

NIC Asia Capital Ltd. has auctioned more than 100,000 founder shares. The company has put up shares in an auction, of those companies which is owned the company from Monday.

The bank has auctioned a total of 105,866 shares of National Life Insurance and Citizens Investment Trust. Out of which, 55,866 shares of National Life and 50,000 shares of Citizens Investment Trust are there.

Eligible investors will be able to submit bids in the auctioned shares as per the prevailing law. Investors will be able to apply for the minimum of 10 lots and a maximum of lots that is divisible by 10. The minimum price of National Life has been set at Rs. 466 per unit and Rs 1,529 of Citizen Investment Trust per unit. Investors will have to bid at the specified given price or more when submitting bids.

Bids can be submitted to NIC Asia Capital at Baber Mahal, Kathmandu and NIC Asia Bank’s corporate towers and branches at Thapathali, Kathmandu, and Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Dhangadhi and Surkhet. The last date for submission of bids is Chaitra 31.
