NEPSE raised by 61.11 points in the week; Turnover worth more than 23 arba rupees

The stock market has risen by 61.11 points this week. This week the trading was done only for 3 days due to of public holidays. The market was closed on Sunday, March 12 due to Ghode Jatra  and on Wednesday, Baisakh 1, due to Nepali New Year holiday.

According to the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), the market raised by 17.20 points on Monday, 23.23 points on Tuesday and 20.67 points on Thursday. The Nepse index, which stood at 2674.35 points on Thursday last week, has risen to 2735.46 points this week.

More than 23 arba 39 crore shares have been bought and sold this week. According to Nepse, shares worth Rs. 7 arba 61 crore 8 lakh 28 thousand 50 were bought and sold on Monday, Rs. 7 arba 14 crore 31 lakh 51 thousand on Tuesday and Rs. 8 arba 63 crore 66 lakh 68 thousand 659 on Thursday.

Investors of five companies had earned more than 9 percent profit on Monday. Shares of NIC Asia Laghubitta raised by 9.96 percent, Mahila Laghubitta by 9.95 percent, Chhyangdi Hydropower by 9.87 percent, Jyoti Life by 9.86 percent and Sindhu Development Bank by 9.80 percent.

Similarly, on Tuesday, shares of NIC Asia Laghubitta increased by 9.97 percent, Mountain Energy by 9.89 percent, Jyoti Life Insurance by 9.83 percent, Sindhu Development Bank by 9.82 percent and Chhyangdi Hydropower by 9.80 percent.

Similarly, the share price of Best Finance Company had risen the most on Thursday, the first trading day of the new year. On that day, Best Finance gained 10 percent, NIC Asia Laghubitta increased by 9.95 percent, Mahila Laghubitta by 9.93 percent, Jyoti Life by 9.92 percent, Green Development Bank by 9.68 percent, Chhyangdi Hydro by 9.67 percent, Karnali Development Bank by 9.64 percent and Saptakoshi Development Bank has risen by 9.57 percent, according to Nepse.
