Nepse raised by 42 points and closed at 2475.09

NEPSE raised by 1.77 percent i.e 42.94 points on Thursday has closed at 2,475.09.

The market which increased from last tuesday also increased today. The market, which opened at 2,448.72 points, had reached 2,476 points on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Sensitive Index, which measures the turnover of large companies, raised by 1.26 percent i.e. 5.55 points to 444.15 points. The transaction amount on this day is also close to Rs 5 billion. The 213 companies traded 57,508 times, a total of 111,130,196 shares worth Rs 4.64 billion were traded.

The transaction amount has also increased compared to Wednesday. On Wednesday, 212 companies traded 44,697 times, a total of 86.26 million shares worth Rs 3.37 billion were bought and sold.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank has the largest share in the transaction amount. Along with the highest trading volume of Nepal Bangladesh Bank on Thursday, the price has also increased by more than 9 percent. The company’s share price raised by 9.75 percent and Rs. 349 has been maintained. Compared to the previous trading day, the company’s share price increased by Rs. 31.

On Thursday, the business group’s index fell by 1.6 percent, while the rest of the group’s raised. The highest increase of 4.1 percent was in hotels and tourism, followed by banking at 1.5 percent, development banks at 0.97 percent, hydropower at 0.15 percent, finance at 1.25 percent, non-life insurance at 1.59 percent, manufacturing and processing by 3.2 percent, others by 2.16 percent, microfinance by 2.42 percent, life insurance by 2.55 percent, mutual funds by 0.46 percent and investment groups by 2.6 percent.

Shares of Green Life Hydropower and United Idi Mardi & RB Hydropower raised by 10 percent in the double-digit. United Idi Mardi’s per capita Rs. 26 and the final price is Rs. 286 whereas, Greenlife Hydropower is Rs. 36 and the final price is Rs. 396 has been maintained. Along with Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Chandragiri Hills Limited is also involved in the price increase of more than 9 percent on this day. On the 28th day of trading in the stock market, Chandragiri’s share price raised to a record high of Rs. 1 thousand 292 has been reached. On this day, the share price of the company is 9.75 percent and has increased by Rs. 117.

The share price of Joshi Hydropower and Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company fell the most by more than 6 percent on this day. Joshi Hydropower fell by 6.85 percent and has maintained to Rs. 136 and Ankhu Khola Hydropower decreased by 6.33 percent and the price has maintained to Rs. 148.
