NEPSE raised by 40.64 points

Kathmandu, March 1

The NEPSE index opened at 2,488.33 today and closed at 2,515.03. The index gained 40.64 points on a highly volatile day today.

The trading of 209 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.69 Arba. 11,838,488 shares traded via 70,339 transactions. The float index gained 2.84 points and closed at 173.37, the Sensitive index is at 453.75 after gaining 6.47 points.

The shares of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) traded the most.  But also it has the highest turnover of over Rs. 44.48 crores. Whereas, Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Citizens Mutual Fund – 2 (CMF2) has lost the most 1.84%.

All the sectors were positive today, and trading gained the most 3.32%.
