Nepse index raised by more than 22 points in the first hour of trading (12 pm update)

The Nepse index has increased by 22.65 points in the first hour of trading on Wednesday. The market started at 2,549.55 points and increased by 0.90 percent in the first hour of trading and reached to 2,551.60 points.
During the first hour, 192 companies traded 19,378 times with a total turnover of 3,148,998 shares worth Rs 1 billion. 491.71 million has been bought and sold.
Shares of Chandragiri Hills and Hydroelectricity Investment has raise the most by 9.95 percent and 9.70 percent respectively, in the first hour of trading.
Of all the 13 groups traded in the first hour, the mutual fund group’s index fell by 0.3 percent. While the banking, trade, hotels and tourism, development banks, hydropower, finance, non-life insurance, manufacturing and processing, others, microfinance, life insurance and investment have raised.
Nepal Infrastructure Bank has had the highest turnover during this period. The company’s shares worth Rs. 258 million have been traded. The company’s share price has risen and trading is taking place at Rs. 568.
