Nepse index increased by 43 points; Two hydropower companies raised by 10 percent

Kathmandu, March 18

In the second hour of trading on Thursday, the Nepse index raised by 43.19 points and reached to 2,475.33 points. The index has increased by 1.78 percent during this period. During the second hour, 202 companies shares worth Rs 2.58 billion have been bought and sold.

Shares of United Idi Mardi RB Hydropower and Green Life Hydropower raised by 10 percent in the second hour of trading. Similarly, Chandragiri Hills gained 9.96 percent and Nepal Bangladesh Bank gained 9.75 percent.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank has had the highest turnover during this period. The company’s total of 426.9 million shares have been traded. The company’s share price has risenand is being traded at Rs. 349.

Of all the 13 groups that traded in the second hour increased which overall raised the index of Nepse. Out of which, the index of hotels and tourism group has increased the most by 4.3 percent
