The stock market gauge Nepse index, which has been declining continuously for the past two years, has improved by 32 points on Monday. The Nepse index has risen by 32.22 points to 2,546.08 points amidst fluctuations throughout the day. On Sunday, the Nepse index had dropped by 72.32 points to 2,513.87 points.

A total of 9,471,311 shares of 227 companies worth Rs 4,542,345,271 were traded today. The transaction amount has also increased compared to Sunday. Similarly, the sensitive index rose 1.61 percent, the float index 1.34 percent and the sensitive float index 1.59 percent.On Sunday, the index of all 13 subgroups fell. On Monday, all subgroups are green. Out of which, the index of Development Bank sub-group has increased the most by 3.45 percent. Similarly, hydropower 2.88, finance 2.54, other subgroups 1.61, hotel and tourism 1.39, micro finance 1.35, trade 0.15, banking 0.76, non-life insurance 0.23, production and processing. 1.06 and life insurance subgroup index increased by 0.92 percent.Shares of My Microfinance Financial Institution and Excel Development Bank traded at a positive circuit level in today’s trading. The share price of my microfinance has increased by 105.20 paise to 1,157.20 paise. Similarly, the share price of Excel Development Bank has risen by 9.55 percent and Sahas Urja by 8.17 percent, Mahuli Community and Bottlers Nepal Terai by more than 7 percent. However, the share price of Janautthan Community Microfinance has declined the most by 6.88 percent.

Today, the highest turnover of Rs 171.593 million has been recorded by Nabil Bank. Shares of National Hydropower Company, which is in the second place in terms of turnover, have been bought and sold.
