Nepse index fell by 32 points; All indices fell except mutual fund

The stock market, declined by 1.22 percent on Wednesday. On the same day, the Nepse index dropped by 32.41 points and reached 2,632.20 points. The market opened at 2,674.82 points on Wednesday. The Sensitive Index also fell by 6.21 points and reached to 473.39 points.
Although the index decreased on Wednesday compared to Tuesday, the transaction amount has increased. On Tuesday, 1 crore 23 lakh 69 thousand 501 shares worth Rs. 5 arba 53 crore 86 lakh were traded. Whereas on Wednesday,a total of 1 crore 37 lakh 87 thousand 218 shares worth Rs. 5 arba 77 crore 22 lakh 51 thousand were traded. It was traded 66,480 times by 214 companies.
Today, Nepal Infrastructure Bank has had the highest turnover. The bank’s worth Rs. 25 crore 45 lakh 98 thousands were traded. The share price of the company fell by Rs. 7 and the final price Rs. 571 has been maintained.
On Wednesday, the index of the mutual fund group increased by 0.12 percent while the rest of the group declined. On this day, the index of Development Bank Group has decreased the most by 2.1 percent.
Similarly, 1.36 percent of banking, 0.5 percent of commercial, 0.55 percent of hotels and tourism, 1.15 percent of hydropower, 1.59 percent of finance, 1.17 percent of non-life insurance group, 1.48 percent of manufacturing and processing declined. Others declined by 0.87 percent, microfinance by 1.7 percent, life insurance by 0.84 percent and investment group by 1.42 percent.
Shares of four companies raised sharply, today. Shares of Jyoti Life Insurance raised by 9.99 percent, Mahila Laghubitta raised by 9.96 percent, Green Development Bank raised by 9.90 percent and Himal Dolakha Hydropower raised by 9.80 percent.
On this day, Jyoti Life’s share price raised by Rs. 75 per unit and the final price is Rs. 826 per unit. The Mahila Laghubitta share price raised by Rs. 160 and the final price is Rs. 1,766 has been maintained, Green Development Bank share price raised by Rs. 19 and the final price is Rs. 211 per unit and Himal Dolakha Hydropower share price raised by Rs. 15 and the final price is Rs. 168 per share has been maintained.
The share price of Liberty Energy Company Limited has dropped the most by 5.17 percent on this day. The company’s share price fell by Rs. 18 per share and the final price is Rs. 330 has been maintained.
