Nepse index fell by 15.09 points in the first trading hour; Highest demand for Jyoti Life’s share

In the first hour of trading on Monday, the Nepse index fell by 15.09 points and reached to 2,684.42 points. The stock market, which started at 2,716.24 points, declined by 0.56 percent in the first hour of trading.

In the first hour, 202 companies traded 18,457 times with 2,746,304 shares worth Rs. 1 arba 64 crore 62 lakh 87 thousand were bought and sold.

In the first hour of trading, Jyoti Life Insurance’s share price raised the most by 9.98 percent and the price of Rs. 683 has been maintained.

Of the 13 groups traded in the first hour, the hydropower and finance group raised while the rest fell. Banking, trade, hotels and tourism, development banks, non-life insurance, manufacturing and processing, others, microfinance, life insurance, mutual funds and investment groups index decreased.

Citizen Investment Trust has had the highest turnover during this period. The company’s worth Rs. 15 crore 9 lakh of shares have been traded. The company’s share price has risen and is being traded at Rs. 3,985.
