Nepse index decline as all indices fell in third hour

Kathmandu, April 21

In the third hour of trading on Wednesday, the Nepse index dropped by 29.33 points and reached 2,635.28 points. In a market that declined by 1.10 percent, 214 companies shares worth Rs. 3 arba 79 crore 5 lakh 96 thousand have been bought and sold.

Shares of Jyoti Life Insurance, Mahila Laghubitta and Himal Dolakha Hydropower raised by more than 9 percent in the third hour of trading.

Of the 13 groups that traded in the third hour, the overall Nepse declined as the indices of all groups declined. Out of which, the index of development bank group has decreased the most by 2.32 percent.

Himal Dolakha Hydropower has recorded the highest turnover so far. The company’s Rs. 17 crore 65 lakh worth of shares have been traded. The company’s share price has risen to Rs. 166.

Manjushree Finance is the second most traded company in terms of transaction amount. The share price of the company is Rs. 528 and Rs. 15 crore 16 lakh worth of shares have been bought and sold.
