NEPSE increased by 17.20 points and reached 2,691.55 points; Transactions were made over 7.5 arba

The NEPSE index has increased by 0.64 percent on Monday. Today, the share market increased by 17.20 points and closed reaching 2,691.55 points. Last Thursday, the market closed at 2,674.35 points.

The market, which opened at 2,674.35 points on Monday, had reached 2,693 points. The market, which was closed due to a public holiday in the Kathmandu Valley due to Ghode Jatra on Sunday, has been open since Monday. On this day, the sensitive index has increased by 0.79 percent and reached 480.29 points.

The transaction amount has increased on Monday as compared to last Thursday. Last Thursday, Rs. 6 arba 55 crore 66 lakh 16 thousand shares were traded. Whereas, on Monday shares worth Rs. 7 arba 50 crore 47 lakh 21 thousand were traded.

A total of 1 crore 33 lakh 73 thousand shares were bought and sold on Thursday, while 1 crore 36 lakh 32 thousand 800 shares were traded on Monday. It was traded 79,773 times by 216 companies.

Shares of NIC Asia Bank were the most traded on Monday. The company’s total of Rs. 25 crore 3 lakh 78 thousand worth shares were traded. On the day of the highest turnover, the company’s share price increased by 3.38 percent i.e. Rs. 31 and the final price is Rs. 949 has been maintained. On this day, the shareholders of the microfinance group have earned the most.

The microfinance group’s index raised the most at 3.64 percent on Monday. Along with the microfinance group, the indicators of banking increased by 0.98 percent, development banks by 1.43 percent, non-life insurance by 1.21 percent, production and processing by 0.25 percent, life insurance by 1.15 percent and mutual funds by 0.17 percent.

The hotel and tourism group’s index fell the most at 1.82 percent on the day. The index of business group declined by 1.77 percent, hydropower by 1.63 percent, finance by 0.11 percent, others by 1.42 percent and investment group by 0.32 percent.

Shares of five companies raised more than 9 percent in the double-digit market. NIC Asia Microfinance gained the most at 9.96 percent, followed by Mahila Laghubitta at 9.95 percent, Chdyangdi Hydropower at 9.87 percent, Jyoti Life Insurance at 9.86 percent and Sindhu Bikas Bank at 9.80 percent.

NIC Asia Microfinance’s per capita increased by Rs. 140 and the final price is Rs. 1,545, Mahila Laghubitta’s share price raised by Rs. 92 per unit and the final price is Rs. 1,017, Chhyangdi Hydro’s per capita increased by Rs. 22 and the final price is Rs. 245, Jyoti Life Insurance’s per capita increased by Rs. 42 and the final price is Rs. 468 per share and Sindhu Bikas Bank shares price increased by Rs. 20 and the final price is Rs. 224 has been maintained.

The share price of Sanjen Hydropower Company has dropped the most by 4.41 percent on this day. The share price of the company fell by Rs. 21per unit and the final price is Rs. 455 has been maintained.
