Nepse fell by 6 points in the first trading hour; Highest turnover of Manjushree Finance

In the first hour of trading on Wednesday, the Nepse index fell by 6.23 points and reached 2,658.38 points. The market opened at 2,674.82 points and declined by 0.23 percent in the first hour of trading. During the first hour, 26,87,302 shares worth Rs. 1 arba 13 crore 40 lakh 53 thousand of 198 companies were traded 14,545 times.
Shares of Jyoti Life Insurance and Mahila Laghubitta raised the most by 9.99 percent and 9.96 percent, respectively, in the first hour of trading.
Of the 13 groups that traded in the first hour, the index of other groups remained stable. The indices of banking, development banks, hydropower, manufacturing and processing, mutual funds and investment groups have declined while the indices of trade, hotels and tourism, finance, non-life insurance, microfinance and life insurance groups have increased.
Manjushree Finance has had the highest turnover so far. The company’s Rs. 10 crore 50 lakh worth of shares have been traded. The company’s share price has raised and is being traded at Rs. 539.
