NEPSE down by 24 points, Shares worth 5.35 billion were traded today

On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the Nepse index has decreased by 24.08 points. The indicator has reached 2,514.39 points. Today, 19,031,358 shares of 211 companies were traded 61,488 times with shares worth Rs 5.35 billion.
Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower had the highest turnover in the day. The company’s total of 469.68 million shares have been bought and sold. The company’s share price has also risen the most by 10 percent. The company’s share price has increased and maintained at Rs. 726.
Similarly, the share price of Chandragiri Hills has risen by 9.99 percent in the second quarter. Out of the 13 groups, the index of hotel and tourism increased by 3.47 percent and the index of hydropower group increased by 4.79 percent while the index of the remaining groups decreased.
The rise in the share price of Chandagiri Hills has led to an increase in the hotel and tourism index. The index of the largest production and processing group has declined by 2.27 percent and the index of microfinance group by 2.3 percent.
Most of the shareholders of Prudential Insurance Company have lost. The company’s share price has decreased by 4.71 percent compared to the previous trading day. The share price of the company is Rs. 768 has been maintained.Similarly, the share price of Support Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell by 4.47 percent and the price has maintained to Rs 2,030 per share.
