Kathmandu: The stock market closed on Sunday. The government has decided to grant a public holiday in Kathmandu Valley on the occasion of Udhauli Festival, Yomri Punhi-Jyapu Day (Dhanya Purnima) on Sunday. The Nepse office has also been closed for the same reason. The market will now open at 11 a.m. Monday. Earlier on Thursday, the Nepse index dropped by 37.87 points and stood at 2376.74 points. Of which, the turnover has been more than Rs 2.30 billion.
