Nepal Industry Confederation is holding a women’s leadership summit in January
The Confederation of Nepal Industry is going to organize a women’s leadership summit from January 29th to January 1st. A three-day conference is going to be held in Kathmandu in conjunction with the Women’s Leadership Forum of the Confederation.

Due to the Corona epidemic, more women have been fired from work in Nepal and all over the world and 15 percent of the enterprises run by women in Nepal have been closed. It is going to be organized with the aim of finding a solution to the effect of the Corona epidemic on women.
The conference, which is going to be organized for the first time by the Confederation, is going to bring change inspired women, leaders and experts. After the Covid-19 epidemic, the conference is going to be held focusing on three major areas of women’s leadership: economic, political and social.
According to the platform, the conference will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas among women leaders, make common strategies, tell about the success of women, encourage women and learn from each other, including issues of gender equality.
The forum said that women who have gained fame in the political, economic, social, environmental and other fields, established, transformative and international will participate in the conference. The conference is expected to have 600 participants.
