Nemwang left us by spreading ‘fragrance’ in politics
Subas Nemwang, who created an image in Nepali politics as a strong, dignified and a leader who can get along with everyone, was the chairman of the Constituent Assembly, the current MP and vice president of UML, and he was a kind of ‘political mio’ in politics who created an image of integrity and integrity.
After the death of Nemwang on Tuesday morning, a kind of void has been felt in politics.

After the death of Nemwang on Tuesday morning, a kind of void has been felt in politics. Nemwang, who created the identity of balance and restraint in Nepali politics, will always be remembered until the Constitution of Nepal, 2072.
Nemwang, who had a simple and gentle nature and spoke in a dignified way, left forever without being able to talk to anyone at the last moment of his life. Nemwang, the leader who promulgated the Constitution, has passed away with a week left for Constitution Day.
Nemwang, who was born in Suntalabari near Ilambazar, while studying in Ilam campus, joined the Aneraswa University in 2029 and became involved in communist politics. In the year 2033, he was imprisoned for some time in the sedition case. He was a member of the National Assembly in 2048 and 2052 and became the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in the first communist government led by Manmohan Adhikari. He became the Speaker of the restored Parliament with the People’s Movement in 2062/63. He won the election from Ilam in 2064 and 2070 and became the Speaker of the Constituent Assembly. He was the Speaker of the Assembly four times and always remained unanimous. The wisdom and patience he showed in the meeting of the Constituent Assembly was appreciated even then.
Whether it was an internal party power struggle or an inter-party conflict of interest, Nemwang always played a coordinating role. At a time when ‘divisive aggression’ is increasing in politics, the lack of a simple coordinating leader like Nemwang will be more and more disturbing.
Nemwang will be remembered by the Nepalese as a decent politician of UML who is sensible and restrained. Heartfelt tribute to the simple and dignified political leader Subash Chandra Nembang!
