Long-route Transportation Resume from Today
Long- route vehicles are resuming from today nearly after a gap of six months as the government has decided to resume long-distance transportation services.
Public transportation and flights were halted after lockdown was imposed in the month of April.
According to the government, the services are resumed from today but, at the same time buses have to follow strict safety protocols or let’s say they have to maintain needful safety measures to remove the risk of infection.
The government spokesperson Pradip Gyawali said” Public vehicles will be allowed to carry only 50% of the total capacity” adding that they can charge the additional 50% to the regular fare to fulfill the loss.
Meanwhile, transport entrepreneurs and workers are expressing their happiness to resume their work on the auspicious day of “Vishwokarma Puja” Since, they celebrate this day as a festival.
